Having a great time!

Jason and I are enjoying this vacation so much with Rowan. He just loves the sand, sun, and of course the water. He also loves hanging out with his cousins. The last picture is him and Charlie chillin on the porch swing. He loves him so much! See you soon and lots of great pictures to come!!

A Tuesday at the beach!

A weekend Away

This past weekend Jason and I attended the wedding of his highschool/college friend Matt Grove. It was our first and last (hopefully) visit to Monaca, Pa. The first picture is Jason with the groom, Garv and Mark. The bottom picture is us away from Rowan for the first time together! We had TONS of fun catching up with our friends and celebrating the union of Matt and Suzanne.

For some reason Rowan didn't want to go to the pool today so I broke out this birthday gift from "Shell". He LOVED it...spending most of the afternoon running through it and showing Jason when he came home from work tonight. So cute..

A day in Annapolis

We took a day trip to Annapolis yesterday and enjoyed the beautiful weather! We started off with a 45 minute boat ride around the bay. Rowan enjoyed this so much and seemed so comfortable in the water. He loved seeing the bigger boats and watching the waves the boat produced. He saw sailing and fishing boats, and big beautiful summer homes. We told him to work very hard and he too could own a nice summer home for mommy and daddy to vacation at. Next we grabbed some seafood and cold drinks at a waterfront restaurant. We then capped off a perfect day with some ice cream and watched the boats sail down at the pier.

Annapolis is such a charming town. A beautiful waterfront with lots of quaint shops and cobblestone streets. Go if you get a chance to visit, you won't be disappointed. We're fortunate that it's so close to us here....about a 40 minute drive.

As we were heading out, we asked Rowan if he wanted to go to the Naval Academy. He quickly replied, "No." Next we asked him if he wanted to go to Penn State. Again, he replied "No." Asked if he wanted to be a sailor he said "Yes". Could it be that we may have a another Naval Officer on our hands? If so, he could always pursue that dream right here at Montgomery Community College!

4th of July!!

Yesterday was the first day in a week that Rowan felt good. He had a very high temperature and was down and out. So it was great for him to be outside playing and eating what else but...ice cream (Aunt Sara found the neat orange gadget)!!! We started off the day by going to the Woodmoor parade. Rowan wore this festive shirt which was a hand me down from the brothers Wolf. Then Jason tried out his new Father's Day gift (a bike trailer) with Rowan. Yea, that didn't go so well. I could hear Rowan screaming "mama!" pretty much around the block. Hopefully he get used to it.


Rowan also got to try out his new water table. It looks like so much fun! We topped the evening off with Aunt Sara, Michelle, and Sammy. Rowan took a particular interest in "Shell" showing again what a lady's man he can be! He was out by 8pm and slept in until 8 this morning! Feeling much better and ready to play!

A shout out to my big sister Lisa who ran a great Hampton 5K yesterday, finishing with a time of 28minutes!! Way to go Aunt Lisa...Keep it up!!! Also a congratulations to my friend Mimi who got a Boston terrier puppy named Rudy this week! He's adorable and we can't wait to meet him! Rudy...Rudy....Rudy....
