Morgan is 9 months old!

We just can't get enough! Besides smiling 24/7, Morgan loves to play peek-a-boo and wave at everything and everyone. Her favorite word is da-da, favorite person is Rowan, and her favorite toys are Rowan's cars. She and Rowan were so good in the car to the beach that Jason and I were able to have some great conversations. I ask Jason what we did to deserve such a pleasant, happy baby and he tells me to wait until she's a teenager. I would have to agree with that. Please don't ever change Morgan - we just adore you:)

More from the beach

Getting ready to enjoy our last full day at Myrtle:( It has rained everyday but the sun has come out just enough for us to hit the beach or pool for a few hours anyway. Rowan loves sitting on his chair on the balcony watching the water and Morgan is really turning into a natural in the pool! Here is a picture from the storm that rolled up yesterday. It was pretty bad yet Morgan napped right through it. Jason and I found a princess store last night and I just couldn't resist the flower headbaand for Morgan. Good thing Aunt Sara wasn't with us....Morgan would have come home with a new wardrobe!

Having a great time in Myrtle beach! The weather has been overcast and a bit chilly but that hasn't stopped us from hitting the beach and pools. Rowan is over the moon happy to be able to play in the sand and waves and Morgan is digging the pool. Jason has become my favorite workout partner - he's even been able to get 2 workouts in on most days! Last night we had an awesome date night. We ate seafood and steak and drank a few cocktails by the beach. Thanks to Gramma and Pap for giving us such a nice break:) Can't wait to see Aunt Sara today!!

to preschool! This is Rowan's 2nd year of school but his first in Virginia. He was excited and I was excited for him! Team Little is down a man....now it's just Morgan and I on our daily walks/trips to the park. At least the double jogger will be a lot easier to push around the lake!

Rowan and the Giant baby

Rowan's latest gimmick is to pretend that Mogan (a.k.a. the giant baby) is gonna attack/eat him. He hides from her and screams for her to spare him when she finds him. This morning I found tortilla chips all crumbled up in his bed. He said he was hiding them so the giant baby wouldn't steal them. She is totally gonna put the smack down on him when she's big enough!

Fierce Flooding in Fairfax

Here are some pictures from yesterday. These are all in our neighborhood, in fact this is the lake and park within walking distance from our house! It has been raining steadily here since Tuesday. First an Earthquake, then a Hurricane, and now flooding! I was a bit concerned last night but Jason reassured me that he knows how to swim - that really calmed my nerves! Let's hope our house doesn't float away!!

Hanging with Mimi

We spent the past weekend in Pittsburgh at Mimi and Hank's house. Rowan had so much fun playing with all the "new" toys and Morgan was able to crawl around on carpet for once! We also got to hang out with Ben and Charlie and The Garver's. We attended friend Ethan's 1st Birthday party and got to see alot of our friends there. Rowan found a new BFF - Gracie Motte - they played so well together. Special thanks to my mom and Hank for the really great visit:)
