Happy Birthday Otter!

Jason turns 36 today! Otter (from Animal house) is the nickname that he gave himself in college that just never really took off! Unfortunately, we are not able to celebrate together as he is in Germany for work:( However, we did celebrate this past weekend with Gramma, Pap, Sara, and Bart. Lots of good food and wine as usual!

It's my first time alone with 2 kids. So far so good...but I could definately use an extra pair of hands especially around dinner and bathtime. Good thing Sara will be helping me out tomorrow!

Happy Birthday Jason!! You are the most loving, selfless, supportive, and fun man I know. Extra bonuses that you are 'just gay enough' (his phrase not mine) to help me put outfits together and watch reality TV with me. A girl couldn't have a better partner!

Morgan at 8 weeks

Morgan was 8 weeks old yesterday and I can't believe how fast these weeks have gone by! The good thing about the time flying by is that we are coming into spring - yay!! I'm looking forward to taking walks around the neighborhood and getting out more often since our house is like a shoebox. As you can see, Rowan is still obsessed with Morgan. He likes me to take pictures of them everyday which I happily do:) He loves to help out with her such as getting diapers for her to putting her binky in her mouth. Last week we went to Kohl's and he asked if we could pick out some pretty dresses for her. It was super cute!

Superbowl Party!

Yesterday we attended Michelle and Sara's Superbowl party and it was off the hook! Black n' Gold balloons, GREAT food, lots of alcohol and a new burgh' babe (Morgan)! Michelle's boyfriend Ryan bought the Steeler sleeper that Morgan was wearing. We had a really great time despite the Steelers' lose. Big Ben reminded me of the 1995 Superbowl when Neil O'Donnell threw 2 interceptions in that defeat against Dallas. It made Jason and I wonder...where the hell is Tommygun Maddox and could he make a comeback?

There was a highlight of the evening...Puppy Bowl Xll! This year's game featured a kitten halftime show and bunny cheerleaders. Did I mention the "Kiss cam"? Whoever came up with this concept is a genius!

Thanks to the Steelers for a great year and to Michelle and Sara for a wonderful superbowl party!

Rowan took this picture of Morgan with the camera he got for Christmas. He loves to take pictures and is pretty good at it wouldn't you say? The other night Rowan told Morgan that she was his best friend in the whole world - it just melted my heart:)

Pajama Day and more

Today was pajama/pizza day at school! Rowan was so excited when he saw his friends all in their pajamas too! He is also all about getting his picture taken with Morgan as the above pictures show. Morgan is already 5 weeks old! She is so precious and snugly. Rowan loves her so much!
