New Year's Eve 2009

We spent New Year's Eve as usual with our good friends Jason and Bethany. Their daughter Leah will be 2 in March but is so advanced that she acts more like a 3 yr. old. Her and Rowan are becoming great pals and they sure kept eachother busy while baby Nate looked on! That gave us time to chat, drink, and eat all the great food that Bethany cooked up!

As for the New Year, we are hoping for a great year. Last year was a challenging one with moving (AGAIN!), taking our landlord to court, the stress of selling our house in PGH, and some health concerns. Thankfully, everything seemed to work out. Some of our resolutions for this year are as follows:

Getting Rowan into a great Preschool
Getting Rowan Pottytrained
Making time for more date nights
Completing my Doctorate
Watching more reality TV shows (Both of us)
Eliminating small talk and embracing awkward conversations (Jason)

So here's to a great 2010! We're off to a great start!
