Picking Blueberries

I had the brilliant idea to pick blueberries in 95 degree heat on Sunday. As soon as I mentioned it, Jason and Rowan were all about it as the two of them LOVE blueberries. So we headed up to a farm in Germantown and got picking. A tractor pulled us out to the fields and I think that was the part that Rowan liked best. Jason was in heaven -I've never seen such concentration. I had to put a halt to all the fun after about 45 minutes as I just couldn't take the heat anymore. The bottom picture shows the fruits of our labor.

Afterwards, we enjoyed a fabulous dinner at Sara and Michelle's! Thanks for a great evening!
